
As part of the Kuvina Leadership Initiative, we add a fun component to keep the girls engaged and excited about the program. Dance is big in the Zambian culture, which connects individuals in a unique way. Our main purpose for adding a dance fitness session into each of camps is to allow the girls to express the way they feel, let loose and have some fun, get their weekly exercise, live a healthy lifestyle and shake off any stress.
Dancing can be a way to stay fit for people of all ages, shapes and sizes. It has a wide range of physical and mental benefits including:
