MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME

​

Each Kuvina participant is designated a mentor who serves as a role model and helps guide them through activities such as goal-setting.  Mentors are female volunteers from the Lusaka community, who typically (but not be restricted to) individuals with dance fitness experience.

The mentorship programme forms an important component of the overall Kuvina initiative with the following:--

​

1) Goal Setting - Mentors help mentees discover talents and interests as well as define and attain their goals.

2) Role Models - Mentors serve role models to their mentees.

3)Advice - Mentors guide mentees in reaching academic, career, and personal goals.

4)Information - Mentors share their knowledge, experiences, and wisdom.

5)Contacts - Mentors provide valuable opportunities by facilitating academic, career, and personal contacts.

6)Challenges - Mentors stimulate curiosity and build confidence by presenting new ideas, opportunities, and challenges.

7)Support - Mentors encourage growth and achievement by providing an open and supportive environment.
